About the role

We are looking for a Head of QA with a broad experience of leading a team of QA Assisters within an Agile environment. The QA team consists of 16 members working with ensuring quality across all of our digital products together with the rest of the product teams- including developers, designers and product owners. As the Head of QA, you will be responsible for coaching and supporting the QA Team in our continuous work with improving and developing our ways of working with quality through the development process. You will lead and mentor the team to be involved in the quality improvement work by influencing new ways of working, both within the team and at Bontouch in general. We believe that you are a people’s person by heart- motivated by guiding a team to reach its full capacity. You have experience of working in an agile environment and know the true value of working as a team to achieve the highest testing standards.


Who you are

  • You have at least 3-5 years’ experience working with leading and mentoring a team of QA Assisters in an Agile environment.
  • You have broad experience in mentoring teams in developing and improving QA processes and methodologies with the ability to inspire and enable team members to move the organization forward.
  • You are a hands-on leader who leads by example, inspires, and empowers team members.
  • You have great communication skills and thrive to work in a close collaboration environment.
  • It’s beneficial if you have experience working with testing of mobile and web apps.

  • Develop and mentor a team of talented QA Assisters at a growing company that works with products used by millions of people worldwide.
  • Impact how we work with quality both within our QA team and at Bontouch in general to optimize the quality of our products.
  • Improve and streamline our quality standards, processes and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of QA and Testing.
  • Focus on continuous QA improvements through team activities including usage of appropriate testing tools, test techniques and identifying areas of improvement.
  • Act as manager of other QA and QA managers.
